Living costs in Estonia are very affordable and are considered to be lower than in
most other European countries. General feedback from foreigners who have
spent some time here is that living conditions are similar to those in Western
Europe. Cost of living is usually dependent upon the student's accommodation
choices, lifestyle, and spending patterns. On 1 January 2011, Estonia changed over
to the euro (EUR, €), the single European currency.
